Raymond James Strengthens UK Business Development Team to Continue Growth Trend
Raymond James Investment Services (RJIS) announces the appointment of Jason Cherriman as a Business Development Consultant. He joins following 5 years in the executive recruitment industry with both The Fox Partnership and Darwin Rhodes, where his focus was front office staff across Wealth Management and Private Banking. Jason joins the team lead by David Hazelton, Head of Business Development, with the aim to find discretionary investment managers who want to run their own independent investment management practice.

Raymond James Investment Services continues to invest in key personnel to support its UK expansion. As of 31 December, the firm had 48 affiliated offices located throughout the UK, representing 101 registered advisers and £1.1B in assets. This represents a sharp increase from 42 offices and £1B in assets at the end of September. RJIS’ total assets actually increased by .2% for the 12 months ending 31 December – quite an accomplishment when compared against the drop in markets illustrated by a 20% decline in the APCIMS balanced index for the period.
