Another UK-based firm has opted to use Raymond James Investment Services (RJIS) to provide it for dealing and administration services. This is Evans Hart, a London-based advisory and investment firm that aims to combine the best features of an IFA and private investment management firm within one entity.
"RJIS provide us with a system which allows us to deal directly in the market with brokers and fund managers at a competitive cost," said Stephen Evans, the firm's managing director. "At the same time, they have a team of staff who are on hand if we need personal help with trades or procedures. They also provide us with valuable training and support."
"The RJIS platform is designed for advisers who provide or aspire to provide discretionary investment management services, which is why Evans Hart is such a good fit for us," said David Hazelton, RJIS's head of business development. "We are delighted to be working with a firm of this calibre and look forward to supporting Stephen and his colleagues as their business continues to move from strength to strength."
Evans Hart is a London-based financial planning and investment management firm currently managing or advising on approximately £80 million of client assets. The business focuses on high net worth professional and business clients aged over 50. It offers advice on pensions, investments and tax-planning.
RJIS is the UK private client investment management arm of Raymond James Financial, Inc, a US based diversified financial services company. The firm commenced operations in 2001 and is active in 36 locations across the UK.
RJIS offers private client investment managers and advisers a platform of choice, providing alternative methods of affiliation through three business models: Independent Contracting, Professional Partners and the Wrap Platform. Its goal is to provide investment professionals in the UK with the freedom to deliver to clients a complete integrated wealth management solution whilst retaining their independence.
